It's not a patch on what an Australian state is offering though. In a bid to boost tourism to Queensland, the east-Australian state that's home to the Great Barrier Reef, the tourism board is looking to hire one lucky soul to play Robinson Crusoe for six months. The job pays A$150 000 Australian dollars (just over a million rand!) and the successful candidate will put their feet up in a rent-free three-bedroom beach home complete with plunge pool and golf buggy. The catch? Well, you'll have to blog a bit and keep the world informed about what you've been up to. Oh yes, and there's a whole lot of snorkeling, sunbathing and beach strolls involved. Tough job, but someone has to do it. Click here to find out more... |
