I haven’t had a chance to jump on-board yet, but it sounds like an awesome way to spend the day. Park at Muizenberg for breakfast and a surf, hop on a train to Kalk Bay for a bit of shopping, grab the water-taxi over to Simon’s Town for some lunch (fish ‘n tjips at Salty Sea Dog, or sushi at Just Sushi) and perhaps a little wander round the harbour, before heading back. Grab a fish fresh off the boats at Kalk Bay and hop the train back to ‘Berg to grab your car and head home for a fish braai! The taxi costs R100 per person one-away, or R150 return.
